Chuckles58 is back in Ae'gura. The
job fair has been a tremendous success. Now to supervise
all the activities the Bahro have been assigned.
Fortunately several of the Bahro have good management
skills, so Chuckles delegates what he can to these
managers.
One project in particular he was
interested in was the software development. He was
anxious to see the progress on the computer game
'Magenta'. He joins a brainstorming
session.
So, how is it going on the
development of 'Magenta'? ... That well, amazing. Any
issues you need to bring up at this time? ... Lag, what
is lag? ... You need more servers, well we can always
call Kestryll if you need servers ... Oh you mean
computer servers. I see. And how much will these servers
cost? ...
After five
minutes of deep breathing exercises, Chuckles58 has
composed himself enough to continue.
OK,
we'll have to see about the servers, but how is the
story development going? ... Two brothers, good, good
... pizza parties, do you have sufficient Pepto Bismol?
... Good.
When will the first working model of
the software be ready for demonstration? I understand
all of the bells and whistles will be added later. ...
Later this evening? Very good. I'm very pleased with the
progress so far.

Jade. The point everyone is trying to make as gently as
possible is this: The Institute must remain true to the
D'ni culture. I.E. NO magic...NO helicoptors...and the
like...ok? Those are simple rules to follow, yes? Now

OT: As Jade and Merlin make their way
down the steps, they can hear faint music playing. "Are
those fireflies I see?" Jade asks in amazement. "How in
the world did they get down
here?"
Grizz suddenly notices that people are
staring and chuckling behind their hands. He becomes
very dignified, only licking one finger at a time. He
turns away from the table and says to Veronica as he
goes...
"I'll be in the DISCO. Stay and enjoy for
as long as you like. I think I'll go take a look at a
certain book that hasn't been opened yet. Don't think I
want to wait any longer."
He passes Cruiser,
stops and turns to her. He takes her hand and kisses the
backs of her fingers...says..
"My dear Cruiser, I
just knew I picked the right person for this job. This
has been a marvelous event! Everybody seems so happy. I
can't tell you how pleased I am at how well you're doing
with the organization. Remember, anything you need that
the DISCO can supply is yours for the
asking."
