Thietris' office with two cups of cocoa. "Here we are
Prof. T. I hope that it's alright, would you like a
shortbread cookie?"
"Hello MrDeitch, would you like to join
us for some cocoa and a shortbread cookie? I think we
may have a problem that needs to be discussed. I'm glad
you like the cocoa Prof."

With one secret blast on her Bahro whistle, she rounds
up the Barrys, Bennies, Bettys, and Keiths and escorts
them back to her Relto for tonight's movie.
And
so, once again, calm and quiet is restored to the
Institution.
"oh well never mind the story, let me
tuck you in Professor T., Cruiser puts the professor in
his drawer at the top so that Urudog will not wake him,
and tucks the covers around him. Goodnight professor,
pleasant dreams." Cruiser tiptoes out and turns off the
light.

back in to the Institution and invite Cruiser to watch
their movie debut at Elkae's Relto. What they're trying
to tell her (and she's having trouble making out) is
they are ready and eager for socializing.
"Boing!" said Zebedee. "For all you
Monty Python fans out there, Zenguy found this. (The Galaxy Song from The
Meaning of Life - within a sketch, and the closing
music).
"That is
definetely not good," says Merlin. "Not good
at all," agrees Dr. Warrell.
Charging throught
the woods was the biggest of all the creatures shown on
the Paper Thietris had given them!
"Quick! Get
the spray!" says Speedy.
"What?!" says
FM.
"The Deep Woods OFF! See that thing, it looks
like a gigantic bug!" says Merlin.
"Oh, I get
it," says Grassie.
Merlin takes off his backpack
and gets out the spray cans.
"See! It says 'Makes
you invisible to bugs', and that's exactly what we need!
Now quick, everyone take a can and spray the house, and
when you're done, put some on yourself!" says
Merlin.
When they where done, the Creature didn't
even stop and just kept on going.
"Phew," says
Warrell.
"You know, that thing might not have
been aggressive," says FM.
"Well, I'd rather
avoid meeting unknown creatures stampeding through a
jungle. Hopefully next time it will be under safer
conditions," says Speedy.
"I agree. It was a good
idea to bring that spray, Merlin," says
Grassie.
"Thanks. Now, you said that there was
something that looked like Channelwood somewhere?" asks
Merlin.
"Yeah. It back past the campsite. Speedy
found it when..." says FM.
"When I flew up to
take a look around," says Speedy quickly.
"Excuse
me, but isn't darker out than it was a few minutes ago?"
says the Doctor.
"You're right, it is. We've only
been here a little while and it's already getting dark
again," says Grassie.
"Like Gira," says
Speedy.
"Precisely," says Grassie.
"Well
then, we had better get moving to see what you wanted to
show us before it's too dark," says
Merlin.
"Maybe it would be best to wait for the
next daytime," says FM.
"If you really think so,"
says Merlin.
"Yeah, that's a good idea," says
Speedy.
"Ditto," say Grassie and Dr.
Warrell.
"Fine, I'll do some drawing while we
wait," says Merlin.
He pulls out his journal and
begins.

Today Speedy said I could join her on the research
expedition to Negilahn. I don't really know what awaits
us there, but I can hardly wait just the same. We've got
the linking book from Thietris and we are going to leave
as soon as Grassie and FrontMullet show
up.
We've just linked in but I feel like I've
been here a hundred years. There is so much to see!
Grassie has found a building across a lake from us,
we'll have to wait for it to lighten up to see it
better.
4.30.04 Today we have come over to
the house. It is deserted and then we had quite a
sca...no, surprise. A beast like the largest one on the
Creatures paper came pounding through the jungle! We
spayed the house and ourselves with some Deep Woods OFF,
and just in time, too. I think I will call the creature
a Trampilocuon (TRAM-pull-OC-u-on). Right now we're
waiting for it to lighten up again. I think the others
are all asleep, and will now join them.
