Well I'm now awake and everyone
else is asleep, outside of our dwelling there is noone,
although a couple of the giant turkeys are wandering
around outside. They obviously survived whatever wiped
out the turkeys on Eder Gira...
Right now I have
a bunch of little gizmos and scientific equipment, all
pretty basic stuff but I'm trying to make a saxaphone
detector, which will point us in the direction of
whoever is playing the sax, and so we can find them, and
put their instrument where the sun doesnt
shine.
Something is beginning to worry me though.
Except for the turkeys, we haven't seen any of the
animals on the chart, or many signs of a "museum age", I
get the strange feeling that we'll encounter the big
animals when we least want them there, however any of
the three smaller animals on the chart could be our
mysterious saxaphone player, will keep an eye out for
them.
Merlin is waking up, must pretend like I'm
asleep again and act like I'm not keeping a diary again,
things didn't go so well when my one in the Badger Age
was discovered.
Although my prognosis for this
Age is good, besides the huge horrible monsters we are
fine - there is plenty of food which is 100% algae free,
there are dwellings, and we aren't spending all our time
avoiding spear-wielding badgers.
Most importantly
there are no derranged
scientists...

up the stairs, around the auditorium, over the bridges,
though the garden, around the egg room and finaly into
the professors office. Before Thietris can utter a word,
the poor vendor thows himself on the nearest BOOK and Blue Betty immediatly
follows him...
Professor T decides that it is high time he
locked those two books up safely. They were both on his
desk, open at the first page. He frowned as a thought
struck him. He held his left paw above the Negilahn
book, and his right above the DRC book. Hmmm, what would
happen if ... No. He quickly dismissed this foolish idea
and locked the books away in the safe.

chicken! Did I say that out
loud?!
OT: Veronica
and Grizz reach the mushroom-shaped rock, walking around
it, marveling at it's unique design. Veronica shakes her
head saying, "This is the strangest thing I've ever seen
and I have seen some strange things lately."
Grizz takes a picture of it with his KI, "I'll
bring a picture back to share with the
others."
"I wonder how it was formed, what would
cause it to be shaped like that, I wonder? I imagine Dr.
Boatingirl would know. I feel so inadequate as an
explorer, Grizz." Veronica pouts a little bit, but it
does not last long. "Come on, let's go." She grabs his
hand and drags him up the next hill. "How long can we
stay here? Is there a time limit on explorations? I'm
hungry, what's for lunch?" She stops suddenly, looking
all around. "Did you hear that? I heard
something."
"How can you tell? You haven't
stopped talking since
breakfast."
"I-I-..."
"Just teasing, Nica,
I didn't hear anything."
They continue walking
on, Veronica quieter than ever, as she keeps looking all
around. An overwhelming feeling of apprehension filling
her.
PS:I just want to make sure everyone
knows that Merlin has a Relto and a sperate personal
age, written himself. So I linked Dibbler to my PA, not
my Relto.

Suddenly Grizz takes Veronica's hand and
pulls her in behind some bushes. She starts to say
something, but he puts a quick finger on her lips, and
she is too nervous to notice. He looks back around the
bush at the mushroom rock.
"Veronica," he says
guietly, "can you see the top of that rock from where
you are, and if you can, do you see what I think I
see?"
Veronica peeks around her side of the bush,
and for a moment sees nothing. Then, just as she is
about to ask Grizz what he saw, she sees something
herself.

Day
4: Well, we've had an interesting turn of events
today. First of all, we were chased around by some sort
of a giant turkey (about 15 meters tall, makes a HAR
noise, small wings, no fan of tailfeathers, and likes to
chase around anything) while that saxophone music was
being played again. However, this chase led us to a
pathway up a tree that helped us to get to the tree
dwellings, but we don't know where the hut is. And
then, another person was being chased, a vendor named
Dibbler, but when I was in the process of saving him, he
decided "Oh, now wouldn't it be fun to knock out the
bird's knees?" Seriously, if I had some sort of sharp
object available on me when I was flying, I would have
used it! Gosh, I hate self-absorbed humans! No changing
into human form anytime soon... but thanks to Merlin's
quick thinking, Dibbler is now in Merlin's personal
age. After that, we checked out the first four
buildings of this tree neighborhood. It reminds me so
much of Channelwood but it doesn't in a way. This place
has a sign of life! Living plants in pots on the
counter, charred firewood, some pieces of clothing that
were hung to dry (mostly some sort of animal fur and
feathers), and some food remains (and to the relief of
FM, it's not human). From what I can gather of the
setup of this neighborhood, it is like the drawing of a
child's snowflake: you know, the 6 lines all
intersecting in the middle? We've travelling along one
side of the flake towards the center... and in the
center is this massive tree that has this multi-leveled
building. I am going to assume that this is a place of
high authority. We're going to check it out tomorrow and
hopefully we can find some interesting things in
there... I don't think FM is sleeping again. I better
keep an eye on him. Dr Warrell has some nice bruises
from Dibbler falling on him. That's what he gets from
yelling at me! Grassie has been somewhat quiet this
trip. Maybe he's not a big fan of heights. Merlin is
exceeding my expectations. He's been quite helpful on
this trip, but he needs to do a little bit more on the
work of details though. Hey, he's not even a teenager
yet so he has plenty of timme to learn
that.

Professor T was far too sensible
to attempt linking to two different Ages at the same
time.
However, he was not a
believer in the concept of simultaneity (), and he therefore
assumed that the most likely outcome would be a link to
either one Age or the other. He may be quite
wrong, of course, but we'll probably never
know.

walk out of the dwelling after they have their

"Let's go look at that central
building," says Grassie.
"Okay," says
Speedy.
Once there...
"There's the spiral
path we took to get here," says FM.
"What about
this? It's a doorway into the tree," says Merlin,
pointing to a hole in the side of the trunk.
Thay
walk in...
"Whoah! This is amazing!" says Dr.
Warrell.
They had just walked into the center of
the tree, and inside it there was a pathway going around
the center of the hollowed-out trunk. The branches were
the same way, with paths going down them from the
central path. There were buildings all along the paths.
On the bottom level where they were standing was a long
stangely shaped tube and funnel.
"This is
astounding!" exclaims Grassie.
"What's that thing
on the floor?" says Speedy.
"It's an alarm!" says
Merlin.
"What?!" says FM.
"A proximity
alarm. When intruders come, it activates, making a sound
to summon the Dibbliridofi to drive the intruders away!"
says MErlin excitedly.
"So that's what was making
that sax sound!" says Grassie.
"It wasn't becuase
someone was being chased, it causes them to be chased!"
says Merlin proudly.
OOC: Another mystery
solved.

Said witch,
was too wise to fall for Ghost Stellaflora's trick
sending her to the Professor's office. It would be a
shame for her to end up in Negilahn or pester
Grizz/Veronica on their expedition.
Instead, the
green faced witch saw the ghost Relto book on GS's hip.
He saw her interest (green with envy) so he held the
book out to her. She pressed her hand onto the linking
panel.
As the witch disappeared, Ghost
Stellaflora then had a mischievous look on his ghost
face.
"I think someone left the water
running". He flipped his Relto book to the rain page.
Sure enough, bright green.
