The special shampoo the young sage gave
her has helped, but not quite returned her hair to the
normal rusty color. At least she can be seen in public
now without attracting too much attention. She stops by
the Institution to ask a friend for
advice.
"Cordie, do you have any experience with
hair coloring?"

Speedy looks up with a potted rose in
hand. "Did I just see a badger? " She shrugs and
looks at some of the tulips on display. She needs more
color around her nest.

Merlin sees Speedy.
"Hi! You
looking at the plants too? Chere has a great selection
out," he says as he stoops down to sniff a
columbine.

Speedy stand upright, holding a potted
rose, potted tulips, a small collection of ivy, and a
small hydrengea bush. "Now, if Chere has a shopping
cart, I could put these plants in it and join you! And
speaking of Chere, where is she so I can pay for my
plants?" Speedy asks, looking around.

Merlin stands up, holding the columbine,
a Sister Theresa Hydrangea, a small yellow rose bush,
and a Golden Dewdrop.(yes, I help my mom garden a fair
amount)
"Speedy, you forget that the plants are
free. I'll just go back to my Relto with these and I'll
be right back," he says as he links
out.

Cruiser links in to the fountain area of
the institute, checks out the flowers and heads for the
egg room. Seeing BG, Speedy and Merlin, she joins them
at a table after filling her plate and getting some
coffee.

Cordie was lost in amongst Chere's
plants, trying to decide which ones would look the
nicest in her office. Suddenly she realises that someone
had been speaking to her. She looks up but can see
no-one.
"That's funny" she things, "I'm sure I
heard Elkae asking me if I had any experience with hair
coloring"
Deciding that
maybe she was imagining it, she returned to studying the
plants, her mind clearly on other things - she appears
to be lost totally in her own little world.
"Morning everyone," Chere says as she
walks into the Egg Room for some breakfast. "I'm really
pleased you all have taken some of the plants. Please
take more, tell others too. They are my thank you to
ya'll for taking care of the shop and Seymour when that
nasty plant got loose. I certainly hope that's the last
we see of it. Is everyone getting ready for your trip on
Boating Girl's boat?"

Um, Cruiser, Audrey appeared in Negilahn without
warning, and then disappeared. Merlin never saw it, or
knew that it had been in the Institution.

Cruiser, I'm so glad you're coming along
on this vaca... I mean research expidition. I'm sure
we'll find it very tan..I mean educational. The boat is just about
ready , and I've been giving some thought to our travel
to and from the yacht. we have our relto book to get
off, of course, but back on is a small problem. I
thought maybe putting a nexus link on board would be
best. that way we can link back for suntan lotion,
parties, cocoa....I mean give reports on our findings to
the professor. Do I have to ask permission to have that
done, do you know? or do I ask Almech to do it? I know
he has experience in these things..
